Welcome to –

Vandenberg Middle School

VMS educates 7th and 8th grade students in Lompoc. We are next door to Vandenberg Space Force Base, and we have many military children as students. We have a strong leadership team, dedicated teachers, and a committed staff who provide an exceptional education to our students. We offer a comprehensive range of programs for students with special needs, such as opportunity classes, bilingual education, migrant education, gifted education, and special education. We value academic success, extracurricular opportunities, social-emotional learning, and student pride. We believe in encouraging and rewarding positive behavior through PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support).

VMS Minutemen are valued learners, capable of great success!
